GORDON FERGUSON
Gordon received his Bachelor of Commerce – Hospitality & Tourism Management from Ryerson University in1994. Over the past 16 years he has worked in hotel, resort and spa operations, and sales and marketing in Canada, the United States and Mexico. The hotels he has represented have varied in size, location and brand; from 115 to 1,700 guestrooms, from city centre and airports to resort and boutique locations, to brands ranging from independent to the Ramada, Delta, Fairmont, Hyatt, and Hilton. During his career, Gordon has actively participated on various committees with chamber, economic development and city councils, dealing with municipal and regional marketing initiatives in Winnipeg and Niagara Falls. He has also served with provincial hotel associations representing all hospitality related businesses. He is the current General Manager of the Ramada Inn & Suites Penticton.
