The diner has been here for 14 years but the two Debbie's have been retired for some time. Gord and Laura Willson have been operating it since August of 2009 and are here to stay! Gord is an amazing chef with 30 years of experience cooking in many kitchens. Since living in Penticton he has cooked at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre, the SOEC, and the Hillside Winery to name a few. He also owned two restaurants of his own on Vancouver Island before he met and married Laura Perrin. When Gord took over the diner he was really excited about the menu.

Over 20 years of experience from numerous ethnicities is the driving force behind the cuisine at Cambo Beach Restaraunt.
