Heart and Stroke Foundation is hosting their Big Bike Event in Penticton. This is a team event geared towards community organizations, companies and groups. Teams made up of 29 enthusiastic riders pedal through Penticton in support of heart disease and stroke research.

The Children's Festival features the world's finest musicians, dancers, actors, acrobats, comedians and storytellers! This international celebration of the arts stimulates global awareness and an appreciation of cultural diversity. It is an opportunity to delight in the world of imagination and open the door to creative possibilities for our children.

"Spring Palette", an exhibition of fine art, opens May 25 at Leir House in Penticton. In the show are paintings by artists from among the 95 members of the South Okanagan-Similkameen Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists.

The exhibition will reside at Leir House Gallery from May 25 to June 21. An Opening Reception is set to take place on the evening of Friday May 25 from 7-9 pm. Everyone is invited to attend the occasion; the artists will be present, and it is an opportunity to meet them and discuss the art.
