The Penticton Vees are a Junior "A" ice hockey team from Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. They are a part of the British Columbia Hockey League. The junior Vees were founded in 1961, taking the name of an existing senior hockey team.
Tickets can be purchased at the SOEC Box office and the Penticton & Wine Country Visitor Centre at 553 Railway Street.

MuchMusic and SunFM Penticton present the 2012 Canadian Simple Plan tour in support of their gold-certified album Get Your Heart On! Opening for Simple Plan will be Marianas Trench, All Time Low and These Kids Wear Crowns. Simple Plan spent the summer touring the globe, including stops in Asia and Europe, as well as the U.S., where they were one of the highest-drawing acts on the Warped Tour. A July date in Quebec attracted nearly 90,000 fans. They will return to the U.S. for a fall tour beginning in October.
