MuchMusic and SunFM Penticton present the 2012 Canadian Simple Plan tour in support of their gold-certified album Get Your Heart On! Opening for Simple Plan will be Marianas Trench, All Time Low and These Kids Wear Crowns. Simple Plan spent the summer touring the globe, including stops in Asia and Europe, as well as the U.S., where they were one of the highest-drawing acts on the Warped Tour. A July date in Quebec attracted nearly 90,000 fans. They will return to the U.S. for a fall tour beginning in October.

2012 will mark the 10-year anniversary of Simple Plan's debut album, No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls. The band has been voted Favourite Canadian Band an unprecedented five times by viewers of the MuchMusic Video Awards. Accolades also include the 2006 JUNO Fan Choice Award and the 2005 Teen Choice Award.
